Experimentul Martinel / The Teddy B. Experiment

Sinziana Popescu’s latest book is about Teodor Martin, a nine years old little boy who’s mother left him together with his grandfather while she is away working in Spain. The book The Teddy B. Experiment, with Andra Badea’s illustrations, is about the difficult subject of migration and tells the story of a strawberries picker’s kid. In spite of the optimistic way of telling the hero’s story this book still remains a sad but true tale. But the painful truth as soon as it has been told and accepted can show a better path to follow.
